Blacklist International is back on the world stage after a triumphant sweep over ECHO, 3-0, at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 10 (MPL PH Season 10) upper bracket semifinal.

Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario showed off his versatility as a jungler in the best-of-five series. After ECHO banned his comfort heroes, Barats and Akai, throughout the series, Wise locked in Fredrinn in games one and three, a hero he has not yet picked all throughout the season.

Still, he had a stellar performance on the tank hero, even claiming the MVP award in the deciding match. With the victory, Blacklist International is the first MPL PH team to book a M4 World Championship slot, the team’s second M-series appearance after they won the M3 World Championship last year.

It was a closely-contested first game as both teams had late-game scaling heroes. However, Blacklist shifted the momentum in their favor after Wise eliminated Karl Gabriel “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno’s Karina at the 24-minute mark, leading to the easy Lord take.

With two members of ECHO down, Blacklist rushed towards the midlane to win the first game. Wise had a 3/2/11 KDA, while Salic “Hadji” Imam, who was named MVP of the game, had a commanding 2/1/10 on his signature Pharsa pick.

Wise’s Fredrinn was the star in game three. His high defensive stats was perfect agaisnt KarlTzy’s Hayabusa and Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales’ Bruno, who had a difficult time chipping away his HP.

Blacklist put the final nail in the coffin after securing another Lord at the 13-minute mark, which they used to run it down into the base of ECHO.

Despite only having a 3/0/3 KDA, his presence alone made it difficult for ECHO to get kills, as he was responsible for tanking most of the damage after he completed his Blade Armor. At the end of the match, ECHO only recorded two kills while Blacklist had 11.
