With Tekken 8’s release just over the horizon, here’s a list of all the confirmed Tekken 8 characters that were announced by Bandai Namco.

Jin Kazama

Tekken’s golden boy takes center stage once again as one of the first Tekken 8 characters to be confirmed as part of the roster. Driven by his hatred for the cursed bloodline within him, Jin Zazama set out on a mission to end the devil gene’s legacy. Partnering with Lars Alexandersson, they devised Operation Lightning, a strategic plan to eliminate Kazuya Mishima, the remaining bearer of the devil gene. In the past

Utilizing his devil power and the resources of G Corp, Kazuya Mishima made a relentless bid to conquer the world. Following his victory over his father, Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya intensified his pursuit to bring down the leaderless Mishima Zaibatsu. The ensuing brutal war caused a deep division in the world, ultimately leading to G Corp emerging victorious. Despite their triumph, G Corp exhibited no signs of backing down, continuing to assert its dominance over the world with unwavering authority.

Paul Phoenix

Paul Phoenix, a passionate martial artist with aspirations to become the universe’s greatest fighter, enthusiastically joined the seventh The King of Iron Fist Tournament. Driven by the prospect of winning the substantial prize money, he was more confident than ever in his abilities to secure victory. Unfortunately, the tournament came to an abrupt halt when its organizer mysteriously vanished. As a result, Paul received only a fraction of the expected fight money, leaving him in dire financial straits.

Marshall Law

Marshall Law, a celebrated martial arts master who operates his own dojo, found himself burdened with debt after his son’s motorcycle accident. In an attempt to repay the debt, Law had to divert his attention from his dojo, leading to a significant decline in student attendance. Faced with this dilemma, he embarked on a quest to find a skilled teacher capable of taking over the dojo and resolving his financial troubles. Despite his efforts, all negotiations fell through, and to add to his woes, the dojo was repossessed as collateral while he was away.

Jun Kazama

Jun Kazama, the mother of Jin Kazama, is skilled in the Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts. From a young age, Jun demonstrated a unique ability to communicate with animals. She later pursued a career as a wildlife surveillance officer for a conservation group, actively investigating Kazuya Mishima, who was suspected of smuggling protected animals. Fate brought them together during the second The King of Iron Fist Tournament, where they formed a close bond.

Nina Williams

Nina Williams, an adept in deadly combat and a professional assassin recognized as the “Silent Assassin,” served as the commander of the special forces unit “Tekken Force” under Mishima Zaibatsu. Her mission to capture Jin Kazama resulted in failure, leading her to resign and pursue a freelance career as an assassin. Eventually, Kazuya Mishima takes charge of G Corporation’s world-domination endeavors, and he personally recruits Nina, granting her the prestigious position of commander within the G Corporation forces.

King

King, a prominent figure in the pro wrestling circuit, has taken on the role of managing an orphanage alongside his wrestling career. The ongoing war between G Corporation and the Mishima Zaibatsu has resulted in an alarming surge in the number of orphaned children in need of assistance. While King is hailed as the undisputed champion in the wrestling world, he now faces the challenge of raising funds beyond the glitz of the arena lights to support all the orphaned children who depend on him.

Jack-8

Meet Jack-8, the cutting-edge humanoid weapon developed by G Corp and the latest advancement in the Jack series. Jane, a skilled developer who owes her life to a Jack in the past, joined G Corp with a burning passion to create her ultimate Jack machine. Despite the well-established reputation of the Jack series within G Corp, Jane dedicated herself tirelessly to refining the design even further. Her vision for the next-generation Jack involved a significantly enhanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) compared to the Jack-7 model, granting it unparalleled learning capabilities with astonishing speed and precision.

Lars Alexandersson

Lars Alexandersson, the leader of the rebel army opposing G Corp, is actually Heihachi Mishima’s illegitimate child. Once an officer of the Mishima Zaibatsu’s elite military unit, the Tekken Force, Lars orchestrated a coup d’état against the Zaibatsu, persuading numerous Tekken Force members to join him. Following the coup, G Corp, under the leadership of Kazuya Mishima, gained control over the world. Determined to resist the tyrant’s rule, Lars established a new rebel army named Yggdrasil, gathering additional military strength to launch a revolt against the oppressive regime.

Ling Xiaoyu

Ling Xiaoyu, a skilled Chinese martial artist, harbors strong feelings for Jin Kazama. She embarks on a daring mission to infiltrate the Mishima Zaibatsu building, seeking clues to locate the missing Jin and gather valuable data to aid her search. Despite traveling worldwide and following every possible lead, six months have elapsed without any signs of hope. With all leads exhausted, Xiaoyu remains resolute in her determination to find Jin, regardless of the challenges ahead. There is something she must learn from him, fueling her unwavering and ever-growing determination to press forward.

Leroy Smith

Lauded as a heroic Wing Chun master for liberating New York from gangs, Leroy Smith unearths the truth behind the city’s war, attributing it to the Mishima Zaibatsu. Driven by this revelation, he enters The King of Iron Fist Tournament with the sole intent of bringing down the Zaibatsu.

When Heihachi Mishima, the Zaibatsu’s leader, mysteriously vanishes, G Corp seizes the opportunity to overthrow them, and their invasion quickly spreads, subjecting the entire world to their rule.

Upon discovering that Kazuya Mishima, Heihachi’s son, now leads G Corp, Leroy and his dog, Sugar, are resolute in their mission to restore peace to the world.

Asuka Kazama

Asuka Kazama, an adept in Kazama-style traditional martial arts and a renowned mediator, achieved victory against Lili during The King of Iron Fist Tournament. However, her triumph seemed to trigger an unsettling feeling of being constantly followed.

Lili’s behavior grew increasingly irrational and escalated by the day. To Asuka’s surprise, she returned home one day to find that Lili had purchased her dojo and adorned it with roses.

However, amidst the absurd antics, the approaching global invasion by G Corp is about to put an end to these whimsical days.

Lili Rochefort

Hailing from a wealthy Monaco oil magnate’s family, Lili may have led a pampered life, but her true passion lies in fighting. Concealing this from her peace-loving father, she uses the family’s private jet to travel the world, seeking worthy opponents to test and refine her skills.

Her ultimate goal is to defeat her eternal rival, Asuka Kazama, who has triumphed over her twice in The King of Iron Fist Tournament.

Hwoarang

Hwoarang, a skilled Taekwondo master, has regarded Jin Kazama as his rival since their initial battle, which ended in a draw. Around six months ago, their paths cross again in the Middle East, where Hwoarang faces the same black-winged figure that had swiftly defeated him before.

Summoning all his strength, Hwoarang manages to defeat the relentless Jin. However, Jin’s disappearance, triggered by the intervention of the Union of Nations forces, leaves Hwoarang with a sense of dissatisfaction over their unresolved conflict. Returning home, he immerses himself in rigorous training, seeking answers to this lingering rivalry.

Bryan Fury

After acquiring the perpetual generator, Bryan Fury became the ultimate replicant, using its endless energy to wreak havoc worldwide. Despite the G Corp. versus Mishima Zaibatsu battle ending, Bryan continued his destructive path, catching the attention of international police organizations.

During a conflict with the elite counter-terrorist unit he once belonged to, the generator overheated, flooding Bryan with power and pleasure, leaving a lasting impact on his mind.

Claudio Serafino

Claudio assumes leadership of the Archers of Sirius, an ancient order devoted to expelling supernatural threats over centuries.

He was recruited by the head of the Mishima Zaibatsu, Heihachi Mishima, to assist him in controlling Kazuya Mishima’s devil form.

Joining Heihachi at the Mishima Zaibatsu headquarters, Claudio provides intel about a potential inhuman presence in the Middle East, originally believed to be Jin Kazama but later identified as Akuma.

Raven

An accomplished agent skilled in ninjutsu, Raven undertakes special operations for the UN’s autonomous forces. His missions span the globe, preempting conflicts through his ninjutsu expertise.

The fierce power tussle between Mishima Zaibatsu and G Corp menaces global stability, fueling Raven’s anticipation of escalating disorder.

To confront looming challenges, Raven readies himself to surpass his boundaries, embarking on renewed training with his ninjutsu master.

Azucena

Azucena Milagros Ortiz Castillo, known by her moniker “Coffee Queen,” captures hearts with her pure demeanor and fearless MMA prowess.

As the sole heiress of Ortiz Farm, nestled 2,000 meters above sea level, Azucena inherited a coffee legacy. She watched her father’s labor, nurturing dreams of mastering coffee cultivation on a global scale.

Azucena pursued this aspiration relentlessly, experimenting with innovative coffee plantations. Dismissed by adults around her, their skepticism became her fuel, propelling her unwavering resolve.

Her persistence eventually triumphed. Azucena’s coffee beans achieved top honors at an acclaimed trade fair, marking her ascent as a luminary in the industry.

As the game’s release date fast approaches, more Tekken 8 characters are likely to be announced.
